Birdman has a new tattoo. Has he gone too far?

Thick Skin vs Thin Skin
There are two “fixed givens” I know to be true right now: One is that you need “thick skin” to deal with the entertainment business. Two, is that Derek Blanks is the hottest photographer right now and his “Alter Ego” series is THE thing to do. Celebrities are clamoring for Derek to photograph them and the “other version of themselves”. His vision is uncompromised, his talent is undeniable and I’m grateful that we finally crossed paths.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys
are in the process of shooting the video Empire State of Mind. This is like the New York
Anthem right now.
Lil’ Mama didn’t show up but if she did… that would have been hilarious!!!

We’ve heard a lot rumors about Kandi’s Ex-Fiance AJ and what happened the night he died. So, we dug a little deeper and found a story with some truth to it. Apparently, AJ was getting it in with this woman, Veronica (co-owner of the Body Tap) and her boyfriend Cornbread wasn’t too happy about it…
Pop it for More
Her name is Veronica M. Jones and she is co-owner of The Body Tap (the club’s liquor license is in her name). Her ex-husband, Fredrick “Cornbread” Richardson, is (allegedly) the man who police say struck AJ over the head with a beer bottle during a brawl on Friday night inside the club.
Sources say the fight spilled out into the parking lot where Jewell was stomped by unknown assailants. Jewell sustained head injuries from blunt force trauma to the brain. He was pronounced dead at Piedmont hospital.
Richardson was the money man who stayed behind the scenes. He kept himself low key and very rarely ventured outside his upstairs office during club hours. Even so, Fred was very well liked by celebrities and VIPs who exchanged thousands in cash for stacks of ones from Fred.
Sources also say Veronica and AJ were involved in a steamy sexual relationship that didn’t sit well with Fred. He [Fred] is hospitalized at Grady and will be charged with voluntary manslaughter.
As you all know in our recent interview with AJ, we actually conducted the interview at his gentlemen’s club, Body Tap, which he let us know, was his new business venture.
There is only one problem with the story above… Cornbread is Veronica’s boyfriend and Fred Richardson (who’s in custody) is part of the security staff at the club, they are two different people. That part needs to be cleared up.
If this story is the complete truth, it is a shame that he lost his life over this woman… SMH!!!

Lil Mama talked to Tyra and discussed THE ONLY REASON for HER SO MUCH being in the press
Lil Mama: “I don’t think it was as serious as everyone…… was trying to make it out to be….When I was sitting in the stands I was very excited and I felt the connection, being from New York, being in Hip Hop…Alicia Keys being from Harlem and Jay Z being from Brooklyn and I was just so emotional. I was really feeling it….I felt like I was being embraced at the time, Jay-Z was bouncing back and I’m feeling like this whole moment is happening but I’m not planning it to be a moment, it just happened.”
Tyra: Didn’t he tap your leg though, like get back?
Lil Mama: “But I didn’t feel it….I actually saw the tap tap later and I was embarrassed, I was like ‘Whoa, Jay-Z.’”
Tyra: How did you know to do a pose at the end?
Lil Mama: “I’m a dancer, and I definitely felt it. I wasn’t there to ruin the performance, I wasn’t there to bring anyone down or anything down. In that moment I kind of felt it coming so I just went with the flow.”
Tyra: Have you spoken to them since?
Lil Mama: “No, I haven’t, I have tried, I got management to reach out. I would like to speak to Jay-Z one-on-one, just to see how he felt. I would just love to apologize…It was never my intent to be disrespectful to anyone. I’ve always been a respectful young woman in this industry, people know me for that.”
Tyra: Do you have a message for Alicia?
Lil Mama: “You can tell her that I apologize and I definitely plan to work with both of them in the future and I hope this didn’t rock the boat.”
